Schedule, Re-Schedule and Try again.

I have to say that 25 years of marriage, 24 years of raising children I have learned how to make a schedule that runs like clock work. I did very well keeping my four kids on time to school, scout meetings, events and even birthday parties over the weekend. I worked outside the home for some of my children's school years. So it took a bit of juggling, oh, did I forget to mention my husband was in the Air National Guard and was gone A LOT? Now you see why it was important to have a strong schedule that worked well.
I am a mom that likes to have fresh baked snacks after school, and cooks three meals a day by scratch. I work hard at keeping my house clean and organized, I even iron my sheets, This is why a schedule is so important to me.
Yet I have to say that this is becoming something that I am having a hard time with lately. One child is out of the home, one is getting ready to get married and join the Marines, and the last two are in high school. My husband is retired and works a regular job where he is home now. So I thought this would be a good time for me to think about my own business. Yet this is not really the case. I just can't seem to get a grip on making a schedule that works well and is easy to keep on.
I have my one year old grandson all day, which after raising for kids you think I would find this easy. I guess the difference is I wasn't trying to build a business from the ground up. I make and create everyone of my products. I create the recipes, make the products, design the labels, build the web sights and run my own spa parties. I am an Army of One. So I am finding it hard to still do my house work, cook by scratch, run after a one year old and run a business. I make a new schedule every week and I find each one harder then the last. Sometimes I feel like making schedules are more work then just doing each day as they come. I often wonder how I ran a house hold of six, with me having to act as a single mother for so many years, and kept it all on track and organized. Now...it just feels like chaos more then half the time.
I guess it is trial and error. At some point this has to all fall into place. I am determined to make running a house, chasing a toddler and building a business work smoothing, on time and with very few hiccups. So I will sit down again and design a schedule that will more then likely frustrate me, and I will
re-write it until it just works!

Until then...I will enjoy being a Grandma to this little guy and always make sure is first on every schedule

Why should we take baths and soak?

So many people tell me they don't take baths. Some because they don't like baths, or some because they heard sitting in a tub is bad for them, and then there is the ever popular "I don't have time to take a bath".
Yet it is really important for our bodies for us to soak. Using a good quality and natural bath soak can help pull toxins out of our body. We are bombarded by toxins every day of our lives. It is in our foods, water, air, everywhere. They get trapped in our bodies and start to cause cellular damage in our bodies. Once this starts
the toxins will damage our cells and start to create free radicals. These free radicals will look for healthy cells to attach themselves to and start a horrible circle of damage, which in turn could damage or DNA, cause aging, cancers and more.
Now eating right can help you remove some of these free radicals and toxins, yet soaking in a bath soak can help too. Now to mention that it soothes our muscles, relaxes our mind, calms our stress and simply makes us feel better all around. Make sure your soak has natural herbs, minerals and fruit oils. Also Dead Sea Salts, Epsom salt, Essential oils and Vitamins are ingredients that you want. These ingredients will help purify your body, mentally rebuild your mind and spirit and even replenish your skins Ph balance, and could help such injuries as bruises and cuts heal.
Do your body a favor and find 10 minutes to take a bath with a soak of your choice. Even if it's once a week, it will help you recover. In this day and age when we down Energy drinks full of chemicals, fast food full of preservatives, smear chemicals all over our bodies in creams, soaps and lipstick, we need to take back some of our health and give our bodies something important back. Spoil yourself and treat your body, cells, muscles, skin, mind and Spirit to a few minutes of pure goodness.
You will be amazed at how you feel better and more energized.
